Greenshadows - a detached 16th-century Scottish cottage fronting River Leny with views of Ben Ledi in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The house has a rich history. Locally called ‘The Pink House’, it was a safe haven during the Jacobite uprising. The author of ‘The Junglebook’ is thought to have resided at Greenshadows for a short period. Of note is William Turner’s painting of Ben Ledi from Kilmahog Bridge (on display at the Tate Gallery) just a few hundred metres away.

We have a fully fitted kitchen, open plan living area with two sofas, a double bedroom and lovely shower room and to the rear is a garage. Newly renovated pet friendly self catered Scandinavian style log cabin nestled in the private grounds of Ardoch Lodge a 9 acre Victorian Hunting Lodge. This stunning log cabin is set in a wooded area covered in bluebells in the spring, some distance from the house, with private car parking, outside dining area. The cabin is furnished and equipped to the highest standards, with a wood burning stove making it extra cosy and comfortable at any time of the year.

The Bothan

Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
