Self check-in and a private entrance makes it easy to social distance, with footpaths and woodland all around there is an abundance of open space. It's a 500m (5 minute) walk to the pebbly beach along a no-through lane. Stretches of sand and rock pools are exposed at low tides. Dogs are welcome on the beach all year round. The South West Coast path, leading to Peppercombe in one direction and Clovelly in the other, goes through the village + there's plenty of circular and woodland walks.
