Upstairs is a bedroom with vaulted ceiling, king size bed with Simba mattress and ensuite shower room. Stained glass windows add to the unique style of the Folly. Warm in the winter with underfloor heating and the thick stone walls keep it cool in the summer - a comfortable home from home. There is a 7kW domestic car charger.

It is attached to our family home, a large detached period property set within a garden of circa 1.5 acres. It is located off a quiet country lane with far reaching views across the valley and easy access to local walks. Local amenities in walking distance include 3 village pubs, shop, chemist, children's play park and 2 cafes/bakeries. One small dog is welcome.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

Minnow Cottage

Minnow Cottage is a beautiful 200 year old Cotswold cottage set on a little stream in the charming and quirky village of Chalford . Although petite in stature, the cottage oozes character with low ceilings and beams and has all the qualities needed if you are looking for a rural retreat or romantic break. There is a village shop and cafe all within a few minutes walk. The property has its own parking and all the amenities to make it a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds.

The Stableyard
