Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Welcome to Knockmore's 2 Lakeside cabins. Enjoy 2 private 2 bedroom cabins living alongside the Bras d'Or Lakes. Both cabins are newly built, clean, modern, airy, and open concept. Both are fully insulated with heat pumps. The two cabins are about 100 feet apart; they each offer a secluded, covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or. We cap each cabin at 4 guests and 2 cars. Although we have lots of parking available for snowmobilers. Ask first before booking.
