The Old Farm Bothy is a cosy hideaway for two in a beautiful scenic spot on a working hill farm at the foot of the Angus Glens. With a wood burning stove, small garden with panoramic views and easy walks from the door it is an ideal place to switch off and relax with a good book and fresh air. It's also a great base for walking, cycling, golf, skiing and exploring central Scotland. Studio accommodation with separate galley kitchen and shower room. Outdoor furniture; adjacent parking. All original wood lined with wood stove and sleeping for two in a double bed. gas cooker-fully equipped for self catering on a budget.Firewood provided. Toilet short walk. Shop close by. Only 5 miles from the new North East 250 tourist route and Snow roads tourist route. Bothy means basic but read the reviews it's got charm. There are woodland walks direct from the bothy. DIRECTIONS TURN up the track that has a green sign for Strathdon Lodges about 500 metres to the east of the SPAR SHOP.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Royal Deeside 1 Bedroom self-contained 'Bothy'

Self contained annexe in the heart of Royal Deeside. The 'bothy' is a 1 bedroom home attached to our converted farmhouse. Downstairs has a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/living area with sofa bed and log burner. Upstairs is a double bedroom and shower room. Just 6 miles from Ballater, and in the Cairngorms National Park, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve is on our doorstep with walks and cycle routes. Close by is Tarland Trails 2 mtb centre. Our property has bike wash and storage.

Snowgate Cabin Glenmore

The closest house to the Cairngorm's. Based in the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park Snow Gate Cabin is the last dwelling sitting right at the foot of the Cairngorms themselves. The cabin sleeps two people comfortably, including an open plan living/sleeping area housing a small kitchenette with an electric hob and a shower /wc room. A log burner gives the room a super cosy feel. The cabin shares a driveway with the owners whose property is next door to the cabin.

Thornbank Cottage - snug & simple, kids & pets OK

Thornbank is a snug and simple timber built holiday cottage in the heart of the village of Braemar.  Paragliding, mountain biking, skiing, walking or perhaps a relaxing holiday at one with nature?  Here you can indulge in all the activities that the Upper Dee Valley and Cairngorms National Park have to offer, then return to a cosy hearth and home. We are located in the centre of the village, but set back behind the road in a quiet spot with woods to the rear.

Grampian Cottage

Grampian Cottage is a traditional Victorian cottage that has been extended to create a spacious and comfortable holiday home for families or groups of friends. It has a large south facing enclosed garden with pine trees, a fire pit and a summer house. There is direct access onto the hillside and to the duck pond. It is less than ten minutes to walk to the centre of the village. The cottage has 2 wood burning stoves, oil fired central heating and an Aga.

Little Clunie Cottage, Braemar

Stay in our accommodation and you will look over stunning views of the river dee, mountains, birds, deer and red squirrels in the garden, hectic modern day life seems far away. Perhaps go for a gentle stroll around the local village, a more energetic mountain walk or bike ride or hit the ski slopes at Glenshee, home to the largest ski centre in Scotland. You could also try out some of the exciting shooting and fishing on offer at Invercauld Estate.

Nochty Studio |Strathdon |Cairngorms National Park

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

Tomidhu Steading - Lochnagar

Tomidhu Steading in Crathie is a converted farm building situated in the Cairngorm National Park between Braemar and Ballater. Lochnagar is a self contained unit offering spacious self-catering accommodation all on one level. Many of the buildings original features have been retained and the rooms have a modern finish. Behind Tomidhu is a beautiful birch forest which leads to Crathie Kirk.

Braemar Cabins - Callater

West Bellabeg is situated at the foot of Morven. It has been newly renovated from a derelict sheep bothie into a peaceful stylish bolt hole where you can truly relax and unwind. This small house has one bedroom with a king size bed but also 2 single beds at mezzanine height. There is a bathroom with a shower.
