Our cottage

We have a Recently refurbished 2x bedroom flat which was part of our home, it has it's own entrance with parking space on private drive . The flat also has a kitchen , bathroom , separate shower and lounge . Our house is situated in a quiet location and a 5min drive to our local town which is Ryde. We are on a bus route to many other destinations around the island. Approximately 15mins drive from Fishbourne car ferry , 30mins from east cowes car ferry and 60mins from Yarmouth car ferry.

'The Annexe' forms part of the main residence built on the old parade ground of Steyne Wood Battery. The Battery was built on the eastern coastline of the Isle of Wight and became a scheduled monument in 2015, being one of the best surviving Victorian Batteries and, as such, all the bomb proof shelters, ammunition stores, gun positions and defensive structures in the surrounding grounds remain intact. The accommodation is open plan 'studio style', with shower room. It is quiet and secluded and has a cosy wood burning stove. Off road easy parking and access. Well behaved dogs welcome, easy access to walkies.
