The village benefits from being a cul-de-sac so has no through traffic It has easy access to the beach in the harbour and further beaches a 5 minute walk away as well as the local tea room and restaurant. Within walking distance, there is Porthmadog where there are shops as well as a maritime museum and two steam railways - Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland. There are also many walks nearby.

Tegfryn is located in the outstanding and unspoilt village of Borth y Gest. The semi-detached house benefits from incredible sea and mountain views and has been awarded a 5 star rating by Visit Wales. Tegfryn sleeps 8 people (plus one cot). There is spacious living accommodation downstairs with a kitchen/ diner, a front lounge, a rear sitting room and a WC. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs; two king (one with en-suite), one twin and one bunk. There is also a family bathroom located upstairs.

There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. There is a parking space available at the bottom of the track (50 meters away from the cabin) or you are welcome to drive up, as there is space to park and turn around at the top of the track.
