Eco self contained cottage in a garden.

This mini 1 bedroom house was our trial run in building our main home using passive house principles. We are approx 1 km from the centre of Westbury in a rural location. (You may be lucky enough to sight some of our local wildlife during your stay! ) The cottage is suitable for a couple, however the extra single bed does enable some flexibility for guests.(i.e. if you wish to use both beds, please book for 3 people.) We provide a library of information about sustainability for guest perusal.

Take a lovely gentle walk along the waterside path to the Cataract Gorge (20 min), the city (2 km), or to nearby tailrace park (5 min). Two double beds: one in living space and one in a room adjoining the kitchen ( see plan in photos).

Blackwood Cottage is a private, 1 bedroom, cottage that is situated on a farm at Blackwood Creek in Tasmania. The cottage is set within a grazing paddock and is only a 2 minute walk from Brumbys Creek. The property is nestled into the base of the Great Western Tiers which provides great opportunity for bushwalking and wildlife viewing. Blackwood Cottage is the perfect place to use as a base for outdoor adventures or as a place to relax in front of the fireplace.

A self-contained studio apartment which has just been fully renovated. Located close to the CBD, the studio is suitable for couples or single travellers, and is ideal accommodation whether visiting for business or leisure.
