The Old Reading Room West Stafford, Dorset.

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. Direct access to the water, Kayaks available for hire. 2 of the 5 bedrooms have sea views and share a balcony. All 5 bedrooms have en-suites and the master bedroom has a freestanding bath overlooking the sea. It has a bespoke layout with an open plan kitchen/dining area on the 3rd floor which makes the most of the stunning views at the highest level of the house.

Godwin's cottage is a stunning refurbished 18th Century thatched cottage. Although attached to the main property, it has its own private entrance, private roof terrace and large fenced garden area with private Hot Tub & BBQ, so plenty of space to spread out and relax, whether it's al fresco breakfast in the morning or an evening dip in Hot Tub watching the sun set over fields. We also have outbuildings which can store bikes or if required.

Come and stay in our newly renovated annex. It offers one double bedroom, a shower room, a well equiped kitchen, and a spacious lounge and dining area. It is light and airy with a modern, cosy feel. Coombe Keynes is 7 miles from Wareham and a short drive from the Jurassic coast. The next village of Wool offers everyday essentials, and there are a number of local pubs offering excellent food.
