The Old Stables, The River Severn, Shrewsbury

The Old Stables is a stylishly-converted private, en suite room with its own sitting area and balcony in a peaceful, unique location on the river - a few minutes walk from the train station and the centre of historic Shrewsbury. We have free gated parking for up to two cars and secure bike storage. Our favourite walk is along The River Severn path to the English Bridge, up Wyle Cop with its amazing array of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. A little further is the lovely Quarry Park

Parking is available on Coton Crescent a couple of minutes walk away. Train & Bus Stations are also very close by. No 6 is styled with both modern & refinished furniture in keeping with its age & is equipped with all the creature comforts required for a short or longer stay. Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

Nearby there is a local shop, pubs and restaurants and the bus stops outside the house.

Lovely detached bungalow hidden in a quiet cul-de-sac at the back of the Reabrook Estate next to, and overlooking, the Rea Brook Valley Country Park and Local Nature Reserve which runs through Shrewsbury. Less than 30 mins walk or 5 mins drive to the centre of Shrewsbury and Quarry Park (with a regular bus to the town) but also with easy access to the Shropshire countryside, Attingham Park, Ironbridge Gorge and many other wonderful places of interest.
