From the doorstep you can walk up to the beautiful Curbar Edge and also down to the Bridge Inn or Chatsworth is a 10 minute drive.

Located right under Curbar Edge, a well known climbing and walking area, immediately onto footpaths, and 4 miles from Chatsworth Estate. Also 4 miles to market town of Bakewell. Walking distance to local pub. Great road and mountain biking route.

Edge Cottage is nestled in the picturesque village of Curbar with magnificent views of Curbar Edge. This 2 bedroomed cottage has a stylish home from home feel with lots of little touches, free Wifi, free parking & a cottage garden to enjoy. Spacious cottage for 4, but can sleep 6. A great base to visit Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton, Hathersage and the Hope Valley. Dog friendly, we charge an additional £30 per dog for the duration of your stay. We can accept up to 1 dog.

Totally newly renovated in 2018 this two bed, two bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' field to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. We are ideally situated on the Chatsworth Estate within the Peak District, close to Chatsworth House itself, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Eyam, Matlock, Castleton, Buxton and Sheffield.
