We are in the middle of the village of Highclere on a country lane with many beautiful walks on the doorstep. The accommodation is within walking distance of our local pub 'The Red House' which serves delicious food and takeaways. A 10 minute drive from Newbury and all its amenities. As well as Highclere Castle, we are ideally located for Newbury Races & Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery.

Welcome to Crail Cottage in Datchet. Surrounded by beautiful greenery, there is plenty of wildlife and the River Thames is just behind the house. Take a walk to Windsor and Eton via the home park or the riverside. You can even walk to Eton through the school grounds from here. Our little studio is freshly decorated and welcomes you to stay. There is a new addition which is a King size bed with Hypnos mattress that will guarantee you a good night sleep. Perfect to relax after a busy day.

My place is close to public transport (Bramley train station), the fantastic countryside of Watership Down and the Roman ruins of Silchester. Access is very direct from the M3 or M4 with Basingstoke or Reading being our local towns. You’ll love our quiet location and cosy, self contained accommodation. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers or small families (with kids). We have direct access to Pamber Forest via our rear paddocks that adjoin the property.

Our newly renovated self contained studio is attached to our home and is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of clifton Hampden. We are a five minute walk from the Thames footpath which is perfect for enjoying this beautiful stretch of the river either towards Wallingford or Oxford. The studio has an equipped kitchen area and separate shower room. There is parking and the studio has its own separate entrance. The decor is modern and clean with a cosy ambiance.

Roomy self-contained annex near Highclere Castle
Within 5 minutes drive of Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) set in the North Wessex area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of a dark sky area. Close to Newbury, 1 hour to Oxford, Windsor, Bath, Winchester and Stonehenge. London 1 hour by train from Newbury Station 15 minutes away. There are a variety of places to eat close by ranging from cosy pubs to fine dining restaurants. Vine Annex sleeps 4 one king sized double, one single and one small single in twin room.

Beautiful countryside walking routes are just a minutes away and Henley town centre, with its shops, cafes, restaurants and river front is within easy reach.
