Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the pond, take time to meander to the dock to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Built by my father, we hope you cherish your time spent here just as our family has.

The Hideaway at Howard Farms

Molly’s Riverview Retreat

Wake up and take your coffee out to relax on the same veranda that Molly Brown (the “Unsinkable”) enjoyed when visiting her sister while watching the mighty Mississippi roll by. Built in 1844 by the first Judge in the territory, , Molly was headed to this house when the Titanic sank. Enjoy the original hardwood floors in the dining room, marked by embers of fires used to cook countless family meals under the hearth. Walk to all the downtown attractions, nightlife and festivals.

Audrey’s Abode is just the place you have been looking for to relax and reconnect with family, friends, nature and a simpler time. Located on a 7 acre hobby farm just south of Jacksonville, Illinois (30 minutes west of Springfield), Audrey’s Abode is a fully restored historic log cabin with all the modern amenities for a comfortable getaway. The Cottage

The Cottage was built in 1903, with the age of the home comes with many flaws, you will find cracks in walls, ceilings, maybe even glass. The scuff each have a story and the stories that could be told, if paint were able to talk. The home is not perfect, but just affordable and cozy. We do allow dogs on our property, cats are not allowed, we apologize. We strive to make your stay comfortable by including the home with essential items needed for the duration of your stay.
