It is situated 2.5 miles from Pooley bridge and is a 5 minute walk from the quaint village of Tirril, which has its own Country Pub. You can walk the Eamont Way to Pooley Bridge or hop on the bus from Tirril. Lakeway has 4 double bedrooms, the master bedroom is ensuite and there is a large living / dining area which has plenty of room to relax with friends or family. Easy to reach whether you are travelling North or South, Gibson Cottage is located just two miles from J40 on the M6 and the market town of Penrith, which is serviced by a main line train station. The Cottage is set off the beaten track where you will have the chance to enjoy some peace and quiet and relax!

Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!

Sleeping a max of 5 adults plus 1 child, all you need is provided. We take extra care for you to enjoy a relaxing home from home, so we clean the barn ourselves at no extra charge. Living next door we’re also on hand with helpful local knowledge and to answer any questions.
