Sanson Terrace "Hut Juksul"

We have renovated a small wooden hut by woods. It stands on a plateau area over 1,000m elevation. When I was a child, my one of a dream was building my secret place like this by myself. And the dream had come true at last! I hope you remember your childhood memory and feel wooden warmth by handmade in beautiful nature. This is a best area for hiking in forests and visiting beautiful lakes. The hut is good size to stay for a couple and a family or single.

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.

Whether you're 2 or 10, this rustic chalet is private to you. Our basic rate is for two persons and additional guests are charged. The main house is nestled 90 steps down from the main gate. Plenty of parking space available at the gate. Our caretaker will be happy to assist you with your simple requests. She and her family lives in a separate staff house inside the property. She will welcome you if Im not around.
