Rest a mug on the reclaimed wood coffee table and snuggle up on the comfy corner sofa in this prime city neighborhood, next to lively Capitol Hill. Here, crisp white decor, clean lines, and cool marble contrast with rustic bricks and hardwood floors. The apartment is in the brighter half of the lower level of our home, occupied by 2 adults and a 3 year-old toddler. Prior to booking, make sure that you are okay with occasional noise coming from the other side of the basement where our family room is located or upstairs in the main floor of the house. Our guests are able to access the entire unit, including private bedroom & bathroom, living room and use our driveway as free parking on premises, as long as they have a compact car that doesn't block the driveway of our neighbors. We are pretty flexible when it comes to guest interaction -- we communicate as little or as much as our guests like and feel comfortable. We respect guests from all cultural and religious background. We've invited guests for gatherings in our place in the past and they've all appreciated to socialize with us and our group of friends. The apartment is close to Montlake Blvd Market, and the University of Washington and the UW light rail station are just a short walk away. Some local cafes and restaurants, like Little Lago and Cafe Lago, are also within walking distance. There is free street parking in front of the house. Compact cars can park in the driveway in front of the apartment. UW light rail station is a 0.8 mile walk away via the Montlake play field park shortcut. The light rail brings you to downtown in 6 minutes (only 2 stations), the stadiums in 15 minutes (6 stops), and the SeaTac airport in 45 minutes (14 stations). If you are traveling on a budget, Uber/Lyft are great alternatives to get to close by neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, East Lake Union, Downtown, Bell Town, Queen Anne, or upscale University Village.

Nice, older beach apartment; located on Alki Beach; where the unit wraps around the building with unobstructed views of entire Alki Beach/59th Ave. 2 bedrooms with Queen beds; 1 living twin sofa bed or pull-out to King. Upgraded & tiled shower! Alki Beach Park is an active place with lots of cafes, restaurants, bike/kayak/paddle boards rentals. Open fires allowed on the beach, where people bbq & chill. Park closes officially at 11pm, but sunny days may stay busy longer. 1 regular parking incl.

Watching the treetops or clouds pass in the skylights relaxes everyone. Walking distance to coffee, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy garden & mountain views from the "Hummingbird Haven," our bright and comfortable work-friendly, ground-level suite - the perfect island getaway or launching point for adventures on Bainbridge and beyond. The 2-room, non-smoking space has its own entrance and patio, a king-size bed, full bath, and roomy living area with fireplace, MCM furnishings and a wet bar. Owners live upstairs.
