There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!

A perfect spot in-between popular nearby destinations, such as Aldeburgh, Southwold and Dunwich, all just a short drive away. 1 minute walk to local shop and 5 minute walk into town. All bed linen and towels are provided. Appliances include microwave, kettle, toaster & washing machine.

You can hear the sound of the sea from your bed, or, watch the ducks and swans through the balcony doors - there really is no other location quite like it in Thorpeness.
