The Cottage is a modern Vacation home near Palmer, AK. Situated on 10 acres of forest we frequently have mostly harmless moose wander through the yard. The Cottage can sleep up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms one with a king size bed and the other with a queen size bed. (Comfortable inflatable bed available upon request). Rose Ridge is 15 minutes from Palmer at the base of beautiful Hatcher Pass. Wasilla is 25 minutes and Anchorage is 1 hour away. We are close to area attractions and activities.

What we do offer is a serene and peaceful home in the mountains with a rugged natural landscape, and occasional visits from bear and moose. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene location. Perfect for that couples or family ski weekend get away. It’s a comfortable walk to the ski hill about 3 blocks. Two story chalet with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and one bathroom on main level and tv and games area up in the loft. In the basement of the chalet there is a mother-in-law apartment that has a seperate exterior entrance and is occasionally occupied by the owner.
