If you’re looking for a quiet place to view the Aurora, look no further! Located north about 25 minutes from town depending on weather and how you drive. Outside of the light pollution zone so the Aurora are incredible right on the deck of the house. Amazing view of Pedro Dome right across the valley. Plenty of winter activities all around and summer activities are even better. In the fall timeframe there are berries of all sorts surrounding the property. Make a pie from scratch!

Country log home. 8 miles from Palmer. Near the Bodenburg Butte. On drive in you will see mountain vistas in nearly every direction. Its beautiful. Guests are welcome to use kitchen while staying. My wife Glenda was born and raised in Alaska. I am originally from Mississippi. Glenda and I moved back to Alaska after I retired from 40+ years with Bechtel Corp. Alaska is my playground because of my hobbies - photography and cooking.

Perfect for family or larger groups sleeping up to 5. Sorry no pets in the home. Add the Rancher room, sharing the full bath between rooms for 7 guests. This room does not have its own private outside entrance but is accessed through front door on ground floor, then up 16 stairs. Guests can expect a farm with farm animals, dirt, and garden workers in varying sizes of grandchildren. Piano students also a possibility in winter stays.

Windflower B and B Sundown Suite

The upper floor which is entirely for your use only and not for any of the other guests, consists of three rooms (bath, bed, sitting), a king size bed as well as twin size and pull-out beds for extra guests in the sitting room. A private entrance for guests only, stunning mountain views and breakfast (cont. style) are also included as well as a kitchen and dining area. This is countryside tranquility and privacy but close to town.
