Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

A beautiful house in the countryside located just 2km outside of the small town of Ólafsfjörður. Ideal for families to relax and enjoy the nature. In the summertime there is access to a lake and a lot of beautiful walking trails and hikes in the surrounding mountains. In the wintertime this is an absolute paradise for skiing and all kinds of winter sports and activities. On the property is a small forest, a lot of birdlife and it feels like you are million miles away from the nearest town.

Dísa’s house is a historical home in Siglufjörður, built in 1916. It has been stylishly renovated with loving care in 2023 with details of luxury and respect for its aged charm. It is our home away from home to enjoy nature, rest, laugh and eat well. Located in the heart of town with spectacular views over the square, mountains, and harbor. Once the uncrowned capital of fishing, Sigló is now filled with interesting history, herring heritage, and beautiful nature to enjoy sporting activity.

Charming place to go horseback riding

Farm stay with amazing opportunity for horse riding, 360 views of mountains, and hiking trails nearby. Access to guest house door is around the side of the house by the bushes, and around the corner. You are welcome to visit our paddock, pastures and stables to look at the horses and sheep; Feel free to give them hay/bread or just pet them. 1. Large bedroom with queen size bed + twin bed. 2. Lítið fallegt og fullbúið hús með öllum þægindum. Okkar auka heimili á besta stað á Siglufirði. Vel uppgert og nostrað við hvern hlut. Húsið er á þrem hæðum, tvö herbergi í risi, á miðhæð er stofa, eldhús og wc með sturtu, í kjallara eru tvö svefnherbergi, wc með sturtu, þvottahús og skíða/útifata geymsla. Húsið hefur viðurnefnið Skógarahúsið. Húsið hentar vel 6-8 manns ef tveir sofa saman í tvíbreiðu rúmunum
